Akiyama International (AIC) was established in Tokyo, Japan on November 14, 2001 jointly invested by Shanghai Electric Group and Morningside Group, USA.

In January 2002, AIC completed its M&A of the former Akiyama Printing Machinery Co., Japan. Its advanced design and manufactory technology has won high fame in the world.

So far the sale network has been established in places around the world such as Japan, China, USA, Europe, Australia and Korea. In the world market, AIC continues its pursue for independent technical innovation for the success of all the customers and to develop new products to satisfy the increasing demands from the customers, thus to promote the overall improvement and development of the world printing industry.
